About Honorable Ali Ssenyonjo

As a resident of Nakitokolo cell in Kyengera Town Council, Honorable Ali Ssenyonjo is a married man with children. He holds an O'level certificate from Gombe SSS and an A'level certificate from Kawanda SS. He further holds a Diploma in Mass Communication from Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), Kibuli Kampala Campus.

Honorable Ali Ssenyonjo is the Managing Director of Rauf Investments, dealing in music promotions, and Sena Trusted Group Ltd, dealing in sand mining. His business acumen and leadership skills have enabled him to successfully manage these ventures.

Honorable Ali Ssenyonjo's political career is marked by his commitment to serving the people. He has been:

- Councillor L.C. V Kisozi and Nsangi Wards (2021-2026)

- Chairman for Finance, Planning, and General Duties Committee, Wakiso District

*Achievements*

Some of his notable achievements include:

- Organizing sports tournaments every year (Ssenyonjo Cup) to uplift youth talents from 2019 to date

- Providing music systems to help his people in Kyengera TC for free of charge on functions such as burials, wedding ceremonies, and birthday parties

- Bought live bands, chairs, and tents and transportation to their destinations for free

- Abolished Empooza

Community Development Initiatives

Honorable Ali Ssenyonjo has also been involved in various community development initiatives, including:

- Spraying people's toilets for free in Kisozi ward and Nsangi to prevent the spread of diseases

- Lobbying for development, which led to Kitemu Kisozi ward receiving significant funding from the World Bank during his tenure as Chairman of Finance, Planning, and General Duties in Wakiso district

- Construction of classroom blocks in the following schools:

    Namagoma Umea Primary School

    Nsangi Primary School

     Kisozi Primary School

- Routine maintenance of district roads, including Nakitokolo-Namagoma road, Nsangi Buloba road, and Kyambazi road

*What To Expect From His Leadership*

Hon.Ali Edriis Ssenyonjo stated that there will be a fair taxation in Kyengera Town Council whereby he will be using his sound vehicles(Disco Sound)to inform the residents before the council agents come to close the businesses for residents in KTC(one month before)

Teaching Residents of Kyengera Town Council what the money for taxation they pay is used for and he is to appoint leaders especially from those who deal with properties to make meetings for them to give him what pains them not him as the hon to decide.

Residents building houses in (kiyu kimu) are not supposed to pay taxes because they are less earners.

Buying a new Grader to clear roads in Kyengera Town Council to reduce traffic flow.

Hon.Ali Ssenyonjo Edriis in an interview,he said that he will open up a Traders Association for he Kyengera Town Council Residents known as Kyengera Trader's Association and he confirmed that he has already submitted it's details to URSB.He added on and said that this association will help traders in Kyengera solve their problems eg. Closing their businesses at 5pm for taxation.

Mr Ali Ssenyonjo Edriis has promised to promote a fair taxation once he is put into power as the Mayor Kyengera Town Council
