Growing up, Nyanzi faced challenges, including a strained relationship with his father. However, his mother, Joan Vumilia, played a significant role in shaping his entrepreneurial spirit. She currently serves as the CFO of Block FM.

Nyanzi's journey in media began when he created social media accounts for Block FM Uganda and discovered Zeno.fm, a website that allowed him to host radio stations for free. He learned to use audio streaming software like Virtual DJ and began broadcasting live.
